The Department of Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Diabetes

The department provides comprehensive care for a wide range of internal medical conditions, including respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal, rheumatologic and infectious diseases.

In addition, we have a dedicated Endocrinology unit, which is a branch of medicine that is specialized in diagnosing and treating diabetes and hormonal conditions. This includes the management of obesity, type 1 and type 2 diabetes as well as diseases of the pituitary, thyroid, adrenal and other hormonal glands. Hormonal disturbances can also affect fertility, growth, puberty and stature. Our department offers comprehensive examinations and investigations to determine and treat the root cause of these conditions.
