Accident & Emergency:

The Accident & Emergency Department is a frontline venue for the delivery of primary emergency & trauma.

Emergency departments of Ummal Qura healthcare facilities are specialized in the delivery of acute care to the patients presented without prior appointment (unplanned nature of patients attendance) seeking emergency or critical care (life-saving services) such as primary management of respiratory or cardiac arrest patients (CPR), Road traffic Accidents (RTAs) within our scope of service, severe hypertension, myocardial infarction, emergency vaginal deliveries (with on-call service), sunstroke, management of non-fatal burns (i.e. < 10%) etc. Our Emergency departments, in all the healthcare subsidiaries, are operated round the clock along-with On-Call specialists consultation services. Our well qualified medical and paramedical staff are alert round the clock to receive all kinds of traumatic and life-threatening patients.

We do the triage which is normally the first stage the patient passes through, which consists of a brief assessment including a set of vital signs, assignment of a “chief complaint” (e.g. chest pain, abdominal pain, dyspnea…etc.), the case is managed accordingly under the supervision of well qualified & licensed healthcare practitioners of various levels of specialists and consultants.

In addition to the basic emergency department services we also provide a set of various interventional procedures such as:

Removal/insertion of silicon urinary catheter with complete care.
Removal/insertion of nasogastric tube with complete care.
Nebulization with medications.
Fleet enema administration.
POP cast at different levels (under specialist supervision).
Back slabs and Skin traction Thomas (under specialist supervision).

The management of Ummal Qura Group is pleased to announce the “Ambulance services” for the transportation of the patients from and to any healthcare facilities throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through fully-equipped ambulance vehicles prepared to transport all kind of patients (within our scope of service) under the supervision of Medical Staff qualified in provision of critical and lifesaving care.
